Our game sucks, so at least this is making me happy...

Cleveland was up 5-0. Blew the lead.
Cleveland had bases loaded, no out, and didn't score in the Top 6. Boston gets 4 in the Bot 6 to take lead.

Complaining about Cain's defensive is a great measuring stick for finding dumbs. In the past I've used people who don't think Cueto was any good or Yordano haters or people who complained about the Royals striking out too much. Great to add another tool to the toolbox.

I was looking at the 2014 roster for grins, oscar Chen made 7 starts and had a 7.45 ERA

Jayson Nix played in the World Series and we made it all the way to Game 7

him and danny love to be smugsy pants and point out that Cain doesn't dive much, which is like, uhm, OK. he's healthy and his dWAR is outrageous. grats on finding something negative (?) to talk about one defensive aspect of MLB's and the royals' best defenders.

but last night soren said he is afraid of the wall which is total BS. he crashed into a wall while stealing a home run from chris davis in the very same stadium the night before

Like, I watched Moose smash Gordon and lose a season and then Gordon sucked too all season but wow what effort.

It was an awkward play because I don't think Cain was sure Gordon wasn't going for it until his last few steps and then he was stuck trying to avoid the wall AND Alex AND make the catch backhanded. He probably should've made the catch but it was not exactly routine.

And Danny I get, nothing impresses him. I think he looks at the Royals as a bunch of cocky showboats. Soren I don't get, maybe he has some personal beef with Lorenzo or something. Was bizarre.

I'm ok with Danny always being smugsy pants because I think he is IRL a giant smugsy pants. His wife is an opera singer and he enjoys classic films and fine dining. Soren is just a fantasy football playing chubby guy wearing cargos and sporting a goatee. Its forced.

Like, I imagine there's a part of Danny who gets up every morning and looks in the mirror and realizes his job is to be sidekick to Kevin Keitzman and provide commentary on the Chiefs running back situation and just stares at his face loathing his job. I mean he is on a college football morning show with Stan Weber and then Chiefs postgame with Jack Harry. Its beneath him. He knows it, Kevin knows it, Stan and Jack know it, and we know it too.

Its that elite smug nature that comes across in his radio personality that makes 810 #1 on my radio dial.

i know it's soccer related, but, Danny really lost control when he was doing PBP for the last SKC game. he like yelled and got really excited during a goal, i heard the replay and IRL

'd. it was pretty adorable for him to temporarily get caught with his smugsy pants down, so to speak
