I mean, with the unbalanced schedule using regular season record for teams in different divisions is really dumb. I mean, imagine if the WS is Dodgers vs Red Sox. Dodgers get home field but its just because they played a ton of games against the trash teams in their division while Boston plays in a division where there are no easy wins. Its dumb. There's no real fair way to determine home field (unless you just go back to every other year format they had) so using the ASG is as good a format as any. At least its fun.

Zona and the Rockies are all over 50 wins, I wouldn't exactly call the NL West garbage. SF/SD are tho.

Understood, I understand that the wins for the Dodgers are counted in the total but still, overall division Wins-Losses

AL East: 216-206
AL Central: 205-213
AL West: 221-209

NL East: 194-222
NL Central: 204-220
NL West: 229-199

w/o first place team:
AL East: 167-170 (.496)
AL Central: 161-174 (.481)
AL West: 163-182 (.472)

NL East: 144-188 (.434)
NL Central: 157-180 (.466)
NL West: 172-170 (.503)

It is in fact the only division still over .500 combined w/o the first place team figured in. Nats/Houston/Brewers play a lot of cupcakes on the reg

6 Royals have double digit homeruns. There were only 3 players to do that in 2014.

Our first baseman and DH that year each had 9 homeruns.

it's a cfbandyman thing but it makes sense if you know what the two terms actually mean
