Chipper Jones, Griffey Jr, AROD, David Price, Bryce Harper, Josh Hamilton, Carlos Correa etc all 1st overall picks. The top 5 is a pretty good spot to be in the draft

Didn't think the Royals had been doing it well since around when they drafted Hosmer.

Didn't think the Royals had been doing it well since around when they drafted Hosmer.We've had some big swings and missesits definitely the biggest gamble of pro sports drafts, because you're drafting a lot of 18 year olds and even the college players haven't faced any real pitching. Sean Manea and Brandon Finnegan were good picks I guess, because they ended up getting us Cueto and Zobrist.
Bonifacio is a legit power threat. Moose is peaking, Cain is doing awesome, and Gordon is at least not complete 100% suck town USA. Add in Vargas (cy young), Kennedy, and once a healthy Duffy is back this team might have "it"
