I'm glad he pitched well WC I'm just annoyed how much fans go ga-ga for these try hard white boys and don't see that a players like Yordano and Salvy and such overcame actual life difficulties. Like I guarantee if I asked my mom her fav player right now it would be Whit. Its stupid.

People turned on Cueto after he had a lot of terrible starts for the Kansas City Royals. He redeemed himself in the playoffs, but I guess that was just too late for some of the die hards.

Really the best argument you could make would be the people who still love Alex Gordon. I'm not sure if he would still have the support he does if he were black.

Yes he was. I was shocked to see he has only had one year hitting above 300. Resigning was not a good call. Selfishly I'm glad they did.

Heard on 810 he may get moved to c.f. or 1b next year.

Is there no chance the Royals can offer to pay part of his remaining contract and trade him? I know people have said he can't be traded it. I'm ignorant all the clauses. It would seem like they should be able to offer to pay half of his remaining contract and trade him, no?

Out of all players with at least 150 plate appearances, Alex Gordon's .492 OPS ranks 195th. He is only better than Alcides Escobar. Nobody else is worse.

I mean, if the Royals ate like 80% of his remaining salary and wanted basically nothing in return I'm sure some team would take him. But no team is going to pay him close to what he's owed the way he's playing.

Maybe if the Royals decide to cut Alex and eat his entire salary I could see a playoff contender taking him on to play the role that Jonny Gomes played for us.
