No.  I always played right field and I was terrible.

Yup, RF is the worst OF. CF controls the outfield, LF needs to be better than RF given that more guys bat right handed and therefore more apt to hit the ball to left field. It's an odds game.

This is a hard q, but I'm going with offense right now. Hosmer's inability to elevate a ball is making me insane. Moss is 2nd in the majors in K rate, Gordon looks pretty similar to 2016 Gordon, Orlando is proving he's not an everyday level MLB player, Cain isn't squaring things up, and Escobar is looking the worst he's ever looked. Its bad.

And unless some of the young arms develop really fast the bullpen is going to be terrible all year. Amazing how quickly things turn in this game.


And to those who are saying things like "We won't go to the playoffs again until 2025" please stop. We might have a bad season but stop pretending to have the ability to predict the franchise 8 years from now. There are good pieces and the team should be able to have competitive seasons.

Yeah, and as bad as the bullpen is, its hard to say they've truly blown a lot of games because we don't/can't score. The 3-5 loss to Minn and the 4-5 loss to Houston are really the only close or winnable games that the pen really cost us.

That .199 AVE/.154 RISP/.618 OPS is probably worse overall than the 23 runs/23 walks in 26.1 innings from our pen.
