I mean wow.  At least with Gordon you can say you had to show the younger players we would compete on salary for that next contract.

soria is the worst signing in all of baseball in all of time and probably in all of the other sports in all of time as well.

soria
gordon
infante

it could easily be argued that gordon's hurts the team the most but regardless, a small market team can't afford to make big eff ups like this.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Seems weird to give 32 y/o guy with a career 2.7 era a 3 year 25 mil deal

I can't wait to see how he decides to spend money this offseason.  Probably will sign morales and volquez to multi year deals and extend Cain and Esky.

It's really gonna piss me off if our bats do nothing vs Manaea . He has been poor on the road, 0-6 with high ERA. Last night we didn't do much off that rookie. Oak gave us a few runs with their D

What I do know is Oak LAA Sea Tex and Hou are on their way to making us 4-12 at home this year.   The West has made us look SAWFT.

Just glad Ned didn't want Herrera to get 4 outs last night (which is way more outs than 3).  Ned rambled like 1 time Herrera went 4 outs and he couldn't use him for 2 days.  How many times has he gotten 6 outs in 2 nights, taken a day off and been available to pitch on day 4?

Answer is plenty of times.

i'd rather not have hererra break down like davis and holland have, so i don't see any reason to use him for the rest of the year.

Yep. We needed Herrera last night. Ned was trying to worry about tonight by not using him. Foolish mistake.  There was no guarantee we would need Herrera tonight.

And Yeah, really no need to throw him that much the rest of the season now.   Kinda blows that a crappy team is giving us the knockout blow.  But 2-10 vs crappy Angels and A's isn't gonna cut it.

Yep. And (for me) seeing Dozier hit is first home run.
