I think everyone is discouraged about all of it but I doubt they hate him. Teams don't really work like that. I'm sure most of the guys would like him used differently

Well guys it was fun. At least we had a pretty decent season til now. Hopefully everyone gets healthy, Soria is no longer on the team, and they come out for one last charge next year into glory until like half the team gets traded away after the end of the 2017 season.

As a competitive person i have to think soria is not on very good standards in the club house but the club house also has some pretty damn good people in it. I just wish he didnt suck so bad

Soria isn't mailing it in, he's an aging reliever that has lost his ability to compete at a high level. He is like Omar Infante if you want to hate him so be it, but I'm directing my hate to the individual who signed him and the individual continuing to trot him out there.

Entering June 22 Soria had a 2.94 ERA.  After his bad opening day, his ERA was 2.18 in his next 33.0 Innings

Since then, he has 31 Appearances. 23 times he has come into the game with the game tied or KC up 1-2.  He has 6 losses plus 2 additional blown saves.  So 35% of those 23 times, he failed in his appearance.
An ERA of 6.00 and a WHIP of 1.81 in those said 23 outings.

His ERA shot up from 2.94 on June 22 to 4.19 today (5.65 ERA from June 22 on). He had 7.1 scoreless during the KC Pen 41-42 Inn. scoreless streak. So outside of those 2.5 weeks, he has been pretty bad.
There is lots of anger for Soria on my part, but the anger for Ned is growing, cause he is the idiot that keeps putting him out there in these situations.

Can confirm that my legion team my senior summer, hated the crap out of me, because I couldn't throw a strike out of the pen to save a loved ones life. Also, I don't know if you listened to the radio this morning, but he threw Dyson and Rusty under the bus on why that ball turned into a double, the players probably really hate him now.

7 blown saves / 8 losses is WAY too many for a reliever

Forget giving Soria the 7th or 8th in a close game.
We can't even bring him in to be a situational reliever, kinda like what Moylan is.
Soria can't come in with a 2 or 3 run lead and just face 1-2 Righties in an inning.
Righties have a .534 Slug and a .375 OBP vs him.  He's better vs Lefties, but Soria vs a lefty is far from ideal as well.

He's only been decent and productive in games we are behind by 1-2 runs when he comes on in the 6th-8th OR if we have a 4-5 run lead with him pitching the 8th/9th

probably not, because j-guts never lost them a game in the 7th inning or later, which is why they were able to win 95 games last year

soria signed a 3 year / $25,000,000 contract with the royals, including $25,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $8,333,333. in 2016, soria will earn a base salary of $7,000,000. soria has a cap hit of $7,000,000

i mean, lol.  that's after he made $4,437,159 playing for detroit/pittsburgh last year.

yup, seems legit.  great job.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
