Balt at Boston. Oakland at KC. This could be where we take a big leap back into WC2 contention.

Red Sox are throwing Price Pomeranz and Porcello. Price has a 2.47 in his last 9 starts. Pomeranz has a 2.76 in his last 7 starts. Porcello is 20-3. Oakland is throwing young non proven starters at us in this 4 game series.

Oakland is 4-14 in their last 18 road games. 3-1 is an absolute Must and a sweep would be ideal. I feel good about our pitching these 8 upcoming home games vs Oak/Chi, so we need to go out and hit the ball. 7-1 at the K....that's what I want to be talking about next Monday night.

Umm no. I want to be at 81 wins with 4 series (12 games) left to play in the season.
Then the O's have a bad week and be at 80-81 wins with 13 games left.

Yanks are still 2 games up on us but they have 3 with the Dodgers and 14 with Bos/Tor/Balt. Man that's a tough last 3 weeks. The Tigers are 2 up on Us too but they have 7 with a Clev team that's owned them plus the 3 games against Us.

The A's pitchers we are facing...
Monday, Detwiler - Had ERA of 7.25 in 58 Inn in 2015. 5.15 in 36 Inn this year
Tuesday, Cotton - Making 2nd MLB start. 24 year old had an ERA around 4.30 for LAD/Oak Triple A teams
Wednesday, Manaea - He is 0-6 with 6.44 ERA on road. Righties have .809 OPS vs this Lefty
Thursday, Mengden - 24 year old. 11 career starts this year. ERA 6.39 & WHIP 1.69

We need to just dominate this series.

4 game sweep would be just what the doctor ordered, and trying to do the same to the Sox would be great. Really, they need to go no worse than 6-2 in this 8 game home stand. Anything less and you might as well kiss the postseason good bye.

U have to lol, he takes out a guy that is only allowing a .145 avg for soria who has been awful all year and he promptly allows a rough ridin' line drive over the CF head which is a difficult thing to accomplish
