Did it in 2014 from basically this same position but these pieces don't work.

I don't think saying they DGAF is fair at all. Baseball is hard and the other teams are good too. Effort isn't really a concern. Execution is.

he's not a FA. he's arbitration eligible. we still control his rights for next season. he's a FA after 2017.

Oh, I think they care. My comparison is only based on the frustration I feel as I watch them play, not the overall state of the program.
