suck town has played in 19 games since returning on June 25. the royals are 8-11 in those games.

suck town is 13 for 69 with 20 strikeouts and 5 RBI, and his average has dropped from a shitty .211 to an almost impressive because it's so shitty .204

32 away games left

13 of the 32 remaining away games are @ tampa/minnesota/chicago

9-4 likely in those games

19 other away games:

4 @ texas
6 @ detroit
3 @ miami
3 @ boston
3 @ cleveland

7-12 likely in those games

that is 16-16 in remaining 32 road games

i don't have the stats in front of me, but new gordon (gordon reborn) has been onbasing pretty good.

538 has us at 16% chance of making the playoffs.  I'm feeling good.

I'm envious.  I need to get to a game this season.  And I have just decided that I will even if I have to go alone.  Worse things, I suppose.
That last few innings - I bet it was amazing to be there.

oh, i just assumed it was a math error.  so what you actually need to do is reread my post.

Gordo is basically the exact same as last year when talking about BBs per Plate App.  He walks 1 every 10 PA.  He has 8 HBP this year, 14 last year

71 Total Bases 70 Strikeouts.
15 RBI in 211 ABs.

I meen it's bad when you get a hit 1 every 5 ABs, Strikeout 1 every 3.50 Plate appearances.  But it goes from bad to dreadful when you only have 1 RBI every 14.1 ABs.

An open letter to Alex Gordon,

Dear Alex,

You know what bud? You haven't been playing that well, but that's ok, because we declare in front of these men that today is a new today. Do you believe in fresh starts? Of course you do, so here's one right now. You helped get us as close as we could in '14, and wouldn't you know it, we got there the next year. Do you really think 10 years from now anyone will complain about a bad first half of one season if you turn it around and play well starting today? No way Jose. So we, here at goEMAW.com are giving you a fresh start, a rebirth, and an opportunity to make the Royals Great Again.

We know you still have something left in that beautiful tank of yours, that curvy, firm yet inviting, tank. Yes that tank has provided many of us hope, as you trot out to left field, your loose pants blown to that backseat by a cool Kauffman Stadium wind on a warm summer's eve.

So Alex, today is a new day. Please, take it easy this afternoon, have a piece of kale, and let's go tonight. The first part of the season is past. Let us look onward and upward, may your booty be our guide.

Sincerely,
CF3

scoring runs is not something the royals are good at.

i hope this at least forces people to realize that the royals must render unto chris young the starts that are chris young's.
