I'm still willing to be patient for another year with Ourdano. Its not like we have a ton of other options anyway. I'm still hoping he develops into the stud he's capable of being.

I understand what a turd Curto laid out there last night, but I don't think any of you fully understand how beautiful he was last Wednesday night. He's had our best and worst performance this postseason. I'm not ready to write him off. Toronto is just a different beast at home. Once Cueto started getting squeezed early on, he started leaving more pitches over the middle, which was his demise.

Cueto is such a dick. I mean, he agreed to some radio thing here in KC and didn't show up. Kids got out of school to see him too! And now all he does, is give up bombs!

Ventura only makes 11.1M  in 16-18.  He's a cheap starting pitcher these 3 years.  In 19' it goes up to 9.9M but then we have team options for 20-21'

Now, even if he is cheap, I still don't want a starter having a 5.00 ERA for the entire season.   Last season his 1st 14 starts were disappointing (5.19 ERA) and then he was 3.10 ERA the last 14.    He really needs to have an ERA no higher than 3.50 the 2nd half of the year. Will he achieve that. Who knows

2014- He was about 3.30 first 16 starts, about 3.10 last 14
