1) So I have said a "good Royals start" was going at least 5.0 Inn giving up 2 ER or fewer. We went 67-13 last year when we did so ( just 19-7 this year)
2) A "MLB quality start" is going at least 6.0 Inn giving up 3ERs or fewer.

So in the first 11 starts this year by Volkie Kennedy and Ventura, we had...
11 "Good Royals Starts" (some of these were MLB quality too) All 11 had 2ERs or less.

Since then, of the 23 starts by those 3 pitchers....
8 have been "Good Royal starts".
3 others were "MLB quality start" (giving up the 3 ERs)
12 failed to do either
* I did not count the Kennedy start that was cut short by the rain delay.

Duffy has showed some promise, but these 3 need to be better, especially Volkie/Ventura

I don't like throwing at batters in a blowout loss. I was fine with it last year when he was throwing at batters during games he was pitching well in.

I will still hope Yordano turns it around and becomes the stud we know he can be. I will hang onto that hope until his last day as a Royal.

I don't think she should be sent to Omaha just yet, but I do think his cockiness far exceeds his performance as of late and when the Royals are on a (now) 6 game losing streak, not something that is needed.

well we have no real starting pitching depth so of course he shouldn't go to omaha

Yeah, are we going to keep referencing one game? Did you see Alex Smith vs the Colts in 2014? Wow! There are concerns we can address, without feeling like we owe him something. When the whole team is sick of his crap, that should tell you something.
