I'm rereading that now. I had forgotten about it (Stevesie and chum1 combine to get me pretty good), which has led to me rereading the Holy War thread again.

not only is our strength strong, but it keeps becoming more of a strong strength

Royals middle relief and long relief has been very solid.  A 2.10 for HSHD and a 2.76 ERA for everyone else this year.  Last year HDH and Madsen had a 2.27 while everyone else was 3.09

We have 4 viable arms to pitch the 7th-9th last 2 years.
2016 our other relievers are 2.76. This year, 3rd best MLB bullpen is 2.69, 4th best is 3.27
2015, our other relievers are 3.09. 2nd best MLB bullpen was 3.12

As long as they don't go full glass bones, Infante and big Ken will basically get infinity chances to succeed.

I wonder if Gee will be back on bus back to KC in a couple days. They're massaging the roster like crazy while sal is out and our rotation only has 2 guys who can pitch more than 5 innings.
