He looked really good. 1 bad pitch though, and it's 5-4 game and he doesn't finish the 6th.

Shaw already had 2 hits. Can't groove a fastball on an 0-1 count.

he gave up 7 hits, a walk and a hit by pitch, he wasn't that sharp. you have that many baserunners and you're prolly gonna get burnt eventually.

The HBP was a killer. I'm not gonna do the what if game, but to give up 6 hits and walk no one with 2 out in the 6th vs this red hot lineup is an outing I will take any day (especially Ace with his recent control issues) But the HBP happened and that meant he had to face a guy who was seeing him well tonight.
