I like the quick hook. No need to repeat Wednesday's afternoon game. We can win this and should attempt to.

Med will get another start but this is troubling and he needs to be able to get an out without using 18 pitches to do so.

No style of baseball works without good starting pitching, or at least league average starting pitching. Royals way was "keep it close, get to the pen, make contact and hope BABIP works out in our favor". Doesn't work when we give away outs and make defensive errors and have crap starting pitching.

The margin in 14/15 was probably thinner than we liked to admit

I do think that the Dayton Moore Royals have valued character and club house unity more than other major league teams. I don't think that has changed. As yes Chings calling it "the Royals way" is cheesy. The 16 goals look different when we're winning Dr. Peppers than when we're losing low tier bowl games. its all perspective.
