Zobrist made the team complete. No holes, no easy outs, and was a very fun player to watch. I hope he does well in Chicago.

He hit line drives, homeruns, and got on base often, but what I'll remember him best for was a popup on a sunny day that brought the K to life.

Was a fun game to attend. I'll remember Zobrist fondly.

I can tell you one thing, Zobsie definitely goes down as one of the greatest Royals OAT per games played

The OF market is flooded with 4 Tier 1 guys (Heyward, Cespedes, Gordon, Upton) and 6 Tier 2 guys (Fowler, Parra, Ajax, Span, Pearce and Kim) out there. That's not including some decent Tier 3 guys - Venable, Rios, Nava, De Aza, Rajai, Joyce, Murphy, Johnson, and all those DHs

saw this elsewhere.  good summary on the abundance of outfielders available.  this is a good year to have outfielder holes to fill.

I agree, there's still a lot of decent OFs out there and at this point I'm inclined to trust Dayton and the scouting department to find a good fit for the roster.

J Zobrist likes attention.  She is without a doubt the voice of the family and wears the pants in the house.

I'm happy for Ben and I wish him luck in Chicago.

I am intrigued with Parra.  Sounds like a good player.  Just read the rumor that the team may make Cuthbert an outfielder.  I will miss Zobrist, but he helped us get a WS.

pinch runner spot is more of a post season position

If that was actually our outfield rotation I would be pretty disappointed, however, it wont' be.

everyone was yammering on and on about the mets getting zobsie and it appears that their offer wasn't even in the top 3.  clown media.

I wasn't able to BBS much during the playoffs (or hardly at all for most of the season), but I feel like catching up on this thread will be fun  :Woohoo:
