Dnr most of last night's syscussion, did we talk about why tf hoch came out??

We concluded it was because Ned made a bad bad decision.  But tonight we're gonna win so it doesn't matter

I mean, with all that happened, the Royals win if Yordano pitches well. He failed tonight. I love him, but we needed a better start

This was my biggest disappointment in hearing/reading about the game. I fully expected a solid start from Ourdano.

He really didn't pitch that bad. They capitalized on all his mistakes

Franklin should not pitch unless the game is never in doubt. Just plain pitiful last night

I would love to see Morales pitch tonight. Just not Franklin.

Now 17 earned runs in 16.1 postseason innings with the Royals, Red Sox, and Rockies. His team has been on the losing end in 9 of his 14 postseason appearances.

Sorry sys, I should have listened to you more on Morales. I would have rather had Guthrie on the roster in hindsight (or nearly anyone else).

he was pretty bad. he just threw 91 MPH fastballs right over the plate to Snydergard, allowing him to single before Granderson's HR.

The velocity thing sounds really weird and allowing a hit to the pitcher is really bad. Its a repeat of what we'd see against bad 7-8-9 hitters when he was struggling and would walk or hit guys and then fall apart. I hope its just his really bad outing of the postseason like Johnny's in Toronto (especially if we need him in game 7).

Sorry for those holding game 6 tickets, this thing ends Sunday!  Mets had their day...good for them.

On the first pitch thing, I'm not annoyed he did it although if he meant to throw that high and tight he is kind of a dick....I'm annoyed at media now jumping on KC for standing up for their guy....and this smells of "white guy" does it and it's tough...."latin guy" does it (Ace, Herrera) he's a latin hothead who can't control his emotions.....and gets fined/suspended.

pretty sure he singled on a curve.  two fb for strikes then gave up the single on a poor curve that was centered.  iirc.

good discussion of a few ventura at bats, and how he wasn't commanding his fb (and throwing it too much).
