Well, it worked, Royals. You got what you wanted. We were having a perfectly enjoyable baseball game, and you ruined it. Kelvin Herrera took the fun out of the game and turned it into something darker.

Think of the children!!!!

Somewhere in Kansas City, a young child saw what happened today and cheered, ecstatic that the pitcher he looks up to tried to stick it to that nasty opponent. And that just breaks my heart.

Count him out guys!!!!!!!

If this is the way baseball is played in Kansas City, then count me out. The A's and Royals were not playing the same sport out there, and I don't ever want my team doing what the children in blue were doing. Shame on Kelvin Herrera, and shame on the Kansas City Royals.

The New York Times will be a great read tomorrow.

hope the mets can turn it around tonight!

Well, they can't.
you never know! :crossfingers:

Sometimes you do.
we'll see.  you are probably right that the royals will win the series, and seem to be the better team (at least over the last two years), but funny things sometimes happen.  honestly, just being at the WS is great for me at this point in time.  next year(s :crossfingers:) the expectation will and should be higher I hope!

No Miguel Cabrera, Nelson Cruz or Josh Donaldson? Would fans really watch an All-Star Game with seven Royals starters?

Greg Zaun, a retired baseball player, who works for some Toronto local TV channel, challenged Yordano to a fight on his late night Blue Jays show.

Yeah. Yordano should not exude confidence at being much better at his job than the batters because he might lose a fist fight.

I wasn't talking about a fist fight, I was talking about a 99 mph pitch to his head, since he has to bat now, but let's move on.

He wears a helmet. Do you really think a 99 mph pitch scares him?

I took a fastball to the nose (shattered it) after I beaned some team from Topeka's, pitcher, on accident. I'm just saying, it scares me when one of the most hated pitchers in mlb (ventura, my guy!) bats. I'm sure the Mets have been fielding calls from their buddies, from other teams, on their day off, to eff him up!

Nobody is gonna hit a pitcher intentionally in the World Series. It would be turning an automatic out (pretty much) into a baserunner. If they do it, they will next year if Ventura ends up pitching in the 2 game set in NewYork.
