Alcides Escobar has 15 hits, nine runs scored, five RBI and an OBP of 1.446 in four games

That's unbelievable.

it'd be worth league min. next year to keep in him in the dugout doing stuff like this.

amazing work by our guy andy

Fantastic stuff. Andy is the best KC beat writer ever. And Chris Young is a free agent after the season--we need to work hard to keep him. He's done well and his teammates love the guy.

I've decided I like Russell Martin. Like the only Blue Jay I feel bad about getting beat tonight.

they're throwing price on short rest?  what a bunch of weirdos.  they have to win three games, not one.  they still have to throw the same three pitchers, all they're doing is changing up the order (and handicapping their best pitcher).

last ALCS we won all our games like 2-1. Dramas fun but a big party like today is also fun

Yeah, I thought I would be bummed that the game was pretty much over when I go off work after the 2nd inning. But in all actuality it was nice to come home and relax and enjoy the ass whooping we dished those dorks.

Oh, that makes sense. I assumed sys meant he was starting and I was looking everywhere for that. Throwing him from the pen in an emergency in a do or die game for them seems a little more logical.

Is it more honorable to lose in 6 games vs losing in 5?  I've always wondered why teams do something that temporarily props up the near term prospect of their team, only to hurt it later.  In this case they're only delaying the inevitable, while making it more inevitable.

yeah, I won't exhale until we win. If they win today they'll throw Price and Stroman. We'll throw Ventura and..... Cueto. So. uh, let's win today.

The day started with Royals pitcher Johnny Cueto, through his teammate Edinson Volquez, accusing the Jays of stealing signs from centre field in Game 3, the old Man-In-White legend. Even if it wasn’t a ridiculous idea, it was pretty roundly disproved on this day.

“I mean, honestly, I would tell you,” Martin said. “We did it with the Yankees, we don’t do it here. We just f---ing hit, man. We f---ing crush. Whether it’s here, or on the road or whatever. We don’t do it. Maybe it’s because they do it, and they’re projecting.”

Its fun to beat these guys. http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2015/10/20/royals-a-better-team-than-blue-jays-in-every-way-in-alcs-so-far-arthur.html

I mean, if I was managing the Jays today, and I had to go to the pen, I'd go to Price. Have you seen the other pitchers? I'd use Price in a close game today and hope to score 8+ in games 6 and 7.
