it's just my opinion, but i think god didn't like it when they overturned gore's second steal.

Astros win expectancy chart

How did the Astros get a bump in the bottom of the 8th?

No idea. Maybe that's the end of the top of the 8th :dunno:

or if you mean the upswing that ends the posted chart, that has to be the third out.

Ok guys, lets figure this out. Do we give Cueto the opportunity for a Disney-movie-caliber redeeming performance, running the risk that he will suck ass and cost us the season, or do we have any better alternative?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

there are 82 inches of alternative ready to step in at the first sign of cueto sucking.

Posse stat of the day.....

In 343 games over the past 2 years, the Royals scored 6 runs or more after the 7th inning 3 times
The first was a game in front of 11K in Late April at the K over Toronto.  The other 2 are in our memories forever

V. enjoyable to read the roller coaster of posts ITT from the middle innings to the end. I definitely stopped watching at work, someone told me we had bases jacked, w/ no outs, I said GTFO. Fun stuff.

Would you care for some Astro Tears? Nobody cares enough about them to have their own message board but I found a thread on shaggy that will do.

(Presented in chronological order so you can really feel their despair)

I am just numb

Quote
1980 Astros blew 3 run lead with 6 outs to go

1983 Houston Cougars- Valvano miracle

1986 Astros blew game 6 three run lead in 9th inning

Oilers- not enough room for their eff ups

I can't go on with more- shoot me please

Quote
my heart has been violently removed from my chest. pissed all over and buried. then dug up and laughing idiots took a huge steaming crap on it.

Quote
Why can't we just rough ridin' lose like a normal team? Why must all Houston losses make you want to jump off of a bridge?

Quote
Did this really just happen?

Quote
I can already see all of the spring training articles previewing next year talking about "a young club that got a taste of the postseason but not quite ready for prime time and comes in to the season eager to get the taste of last October out of their mouth."

Quote
100 wins or 100 losses I'll always be here. They ain't winning Wednesday. We're talking about a Houston sports team, remember. It's on the road against a team that's been here before. Today was a rude reminder of what happens so very often with the Texans, Rockets, Astros in big games.
