Also, McCullers hasn't pitched more than 7 innings in any game since June 3rd, so we'll get a shot at their pen. Hopefully we get to him early.

That was incredibly frustrating to watch. Volquez pitched the best I've seen him pitch, and Hos let the ump get to him. The low strike was there all day, and he let it get to him. He is horrible at the plate right now, just terrible.

Gordon's HR was nice, but he had bad ABs today as well. We need to get runs early tomorrow, and make it a bullpen game, because HMD can strike out 9 straight with that lineup no problem.

No problems with how ned managed. Players have to execute.

Posse 3 game summary.....

1) Royals poor defense has allowed a run to score in every game. Esky non throw home game 1, Moose non throw to 3rd and Esky bobble/weak throw in short left in the 2nd game. Today Cain not catching ball in deep center

2) KC 4 solo HRs. 3-20 w/ RISP. When we need clutch hits, we make outs. When no one is on base, we decide to get a HR

3) 34 guys have reached base via Hit BB HBP or Error. Only 9 scored. When you factor in the 4 HRs, only 5 of 30 guys to actually get on the base paths (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) came around to score

4) our bullpen done pretty solid job. 3 ER in 12.1 Innings

*I'm more invested now, because not only do I have ALCS game 2 tickets, I also just ordered tickets to ALDS game 5 on Wednesday.
