we play again tomorrow at 2:30PM, it would be the bullpen the rest of the game, which favors us tremendously

what difference does it make that they play tomorrow.  if mchugh is out, i can't imagine that they wouldn't use mccullers or fiers.

are those the game 2 & 3 starters?  my point was they wouldnt waste their 2 & 3 game starters on a short game

oh, yeah.  but their game 2 starter isn't as good as their 4th and 5th starters, so there'd be no reason to.

Interesting call.  This allows Ventura to pitch game 4 and he won't be fatigued.  This makes Medlen our long relief guy for game 2 or 3.

Ventura probably wasn't going more than 5, since his pitch count would be lower than normal (as D Willis said on TV) because he has to throw simulated pitches during the delay.

I hope big CY can go out and give us 4-5 productive innings
