After being an MLB best 22-11 and 8-2 in 1run and extra inning games....

We finally got another win in both after being 0-5 and 0-3 in those the last 3.5 weeks

You're probably right, especially since Esky seems a bit slower this season.

Esky as the 5th best option is pretty ridiculous. Hos could probably make the top 4 on quite a few MLB teams.

esky is more quick than fast. he might be competitive in 40s, but at 100 i think he'd be way back. especially 2015 esky. he's probably not even 5th, actually. over that much distance the long steady slow strides of rios would eat him up.

but i really didn't think it was a fun game to watch. the stranded runners were like nails on a chalk board.
the home plate umpire's strike zone for both teams was stupid

does zobrist have a nickname?

well, i mean aside from the obvious zobrisie or zobsie.
just a little ace in the hole stat about him- when we traded for him and we went up to the bird dome and he hit 2 hrs in one game and we beat the canada birds 7-6. i started calling him bird poison after that, let's hope we play them in the playoffs and he poisons them again.

i have tons of stats like that.
