The Royals are a young ballclub. Lots of new people on the roster. A division win in what was billed as the toughest division in baseball this year is good given the previous two sentences.

2 games at Balt on Fri/Sat.... We got 22 runs

Last 12 games, take out the 2 games above..... 22 runs

Our pitching this month is an issue.  Our ability to score runs lately is an issue  :bang:

And, to a lesser but important extent, more defensive and base running gaffes than usual.

What are Cain, Hos, & Morales batting with RISP during that time?

I haven't watched several games now.  It makes hearing that the Royals lost again a little easier to take.  I hate losing like crazy.

we are going to make the playoffs so its really hard to care about what happens between now and then for me.  My gut says that we will pull out of the funk and be competitive so I'm not giving up on making another run.  If you look at the lineup on paper we are stacked.  Our 1,3,6 and 7th hitters were all stars and number 5 has over 100 rbi's and then those guys named hosmer and zobrist.  Rios appears to have figured it out as well.  We have a lefty killer on tap in gomes and a huge stable of studs in the pen.  I still have a crap ton of confidence in these guys to get it done.

Hey guys. It's Red Thursday, the Royals are a dumpster fire, why don't you jump on the Chiefs bandwagon and let's go in for the BIG WIN!!

baseball runs in streaks, funks happen

the cards (best record in mlb) were 2-11 coming into sunday night.  they've since won 3 in a row and are back doing what the best teams do, winning.
boys in blue will be fine, this happens to all teams

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

timing is unfortunate, but we still have 3 weeks left to get the pendulum swinging in the other direction and better to be sucking wind now rather than in october
these guys are professionals, they know what they're doing

yeah, it sucks to watch though. I'd like to think that with the lineup we keep running out there, that at some point they'll have back to back to back games with a bunch of runs

Royals have had a lot of success vs Kluber this season. Could tonight be the game that turns things around? All signs point to yes.

This is the biggest thing.

I know there is plenty of time left and that how you finish (good or bad) is not predictive for how you will do in the postseason.

Its just not fun to watch the team struggle (especially when you are addicted and have to watch every night) when they haven't had a stretch this bad all season.
