Uh, it kind of matters.

A June slump is much different than a slump that's made its way into September.

Cueto wasn't a good pick up. I wanna give him back.

The stat in the tweet is actually wrong,Cueto has 17 runs in 25 Inn last 4 starts ( but 17 Inn 16R last 3)

Kershaw had a 4 start stretch this year of 15 runs in 27 Inn. And he is the best pitcher on the planet.

What is disappointing is Cueto has only pitched 7 games for us and he has alreády had a rough stretch.

October and November are all that matters but he has to start fixing his mistakes here soon

Did you see his last 2 innings though? I thought Ned was going to send him back out there

Nobody thought that. Thinking a struggling pitcher should go to AAA to work on his mentality and mechanics so he won't cost the team wins isn't the same thing as thinking he's a AAA pitcher.

If Cueto had options and it were July, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a few AAA starts right now, either.

Everyone - I am officially uneasy about the HFA lead. 5.5 is a nice cushion but it was like 50 games 1 month ago. Someone ease my concern and I'll make it worth your while.

It was 8 going into Sunday, so yeah. (I'm also concerned.)

Jays have a super pud schedule also down the stretch. Only 7 games vs teams about .500 (Yanks). They aren't slowing down, like, at all.
