the problem last inning wasn't attitude or whatever people imagine will be altered by sending him down, it was mechanical.  like _fan said, he lost focus or something, his mechanics got mumped and he couldn't throw the fastball for a strike.  after eiland came out, he got it corrected.

Same thing. Easier to fix that crap in AAA where you can yank him if he isn't able to focus for a couple hours every few days. His issues are definitely mechanical, but it sure seems like his mechanics go to crap because he has no consistency in his game day manner, he's just a basket case out there at times.
