tough luck on that double play attempt by rios. just didn't quite hit it hard enough. and then he has to bear the indignity of infante cleaning up after him. poor devil.

I disagree. If he lays down a good one, we have guys on 2nd & 3rd with one out, and David & Holland ready to come in if Rios (that being the only reason I was against it) just hits a fly ball or pokes one through the infield while they're in.

Even more of a reason why the Hos bunt was effing stupid. You have our normal 8 & 9 hitters up behind you. It's a 1-0 count. The pitcher isn't throwing well. You might be able to sit on a fat fastball, better known as a piece of cheese.

Thank you for bailing us out Infante. Hos/Rios almost blew another Great scoring chance

there's two reasons it's not a great idea.

Runners on 3rd and 2nd is a better idea for Rios over runners being on 1st and 2nd fwiw.
