I mean, rios and infante have been pretty bad (or injured) most of the season but that isn't stopping me from voting for them over a million times. I'm not some piece of trash.

Short term, post injury Rios has been bad. Long term Rios will be solid. JMHO.

Infante his first 34 games he played this year....
.264 average 17 RBIs 13 xtra base hits and hitting .300-.310 with RISP

Last 17 games he has played... 5-55, 0 xtra base hits, 0 RBIs, 1 walk

Little less than a month ago, We had 6-7 guys that were hitting .290 or higher and most of them were driving the ball for xtra base hits.  So it seemed as if Infante wasn't doing squat because compared to those others, he wasn't.   In reality for 34 games played, those stats were pretty decent for a #8-9 hitter.

But he has just been atrocious since.  He's had a few hard hit outs, but for most part it's been lazy ground balls, popping the ball up, or swinging at an off speed pitch way out of the zone.   He takes too many first pitch, very hittable fastballs.....but at the same time he isn't driving fastballs when he does get them.

Rios is 4-31 since return.   4 weeks from now if we are still talking about his slumping ways at the plate, then the ones like myself that aren't really pissed at his play now....We will be by then.

It's been said before, but as the national anti-Royals campaign heats up, it will become more important.

Voting rules:
1. 35 votes per email (total, not per day)
2. Does not have to be a real email address ([email protected] works)
3. The voting system recognizes "." as a character in an email address, but google doesn't.  If you want to use "real" emails over and over, you can do it that way.  [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] will all work as different emails for mlb, but will all send the sweepstakes entry stuff to [email protected].

Thanks, and remember to #voteRoyal

BiTB was all about this a couple days ago. I wish all the small market teams would take this opportunity to align and break this silly system.

you sure about that total, not per day stuff?  it certainly accepts votes from the same email address after 24 hours have passed.  are you saying it doesn't count them?  royals review thinks it counts them.

It doesn't accept my e-mail address. I voted 35 times, and it tells me exactly that when I try to vote again with that addy.

I just hate it that Infante is going to embarrass us, but it's for the better good and all.

infante is a wily veteran and pretty much leads whatever team he's on to the world series every year.  kansas citians can be proud to have infante representing their city.

Also, who picks the pitchers?

Players coaches and managers select 8 pitchers (5 starters 3 relievers) and 8 backup positions

Ned then has 8 players he selects(NL Mgr selects 8 and a DH). He must select players off of teams with no players first.

Fans vote (internet vote) the final/34th player
