I'd rather see a ball thrown down in the zone there. Make him miss.

Fair. But as fans we do have to give credit to other teams. Beltre is a pro and did his job. There's not always a goat

That was the first run he's given up this year. The bottom line is we need 6 outs in close games from Davis/Holland. If you want to be the simpleton to argue who goes first, be my guest. Holland is the most effective closer in team history FYI.

No, what on Greg is not getting the lead off guy.  2 singles doesn't score a run (without a SB).  But a leadoff single and a sac bunt on the other hand.
