2 out of 3 in Cleveland isn't bad. Disappointing that Ourdano had a bad outing.

I'll take it. If we can find a way to get 3 of 4 vs Detroit I would be popping bottles

More like Ryan Leforehead.   He makes Hud's forehead look normal.

Well you can eff right off. Quit pretending to work at what is obviously a game for kindergarteners. It's killing our mojo.

Just caught up on highlights. Where's Herrera when you need him?

the 6th inning for our guys is a mess, our SP's hit a wall and Ned won't use Herrera and/or Davis in any inning but the 7th or 8th.

Hoch can't come back soon enough. The 6th can be his inning.

The bullpen isn't as good as it seems right now, but the starters are better than they're playing. Things will even out IMO. Yordano's control was awful, but he'll have nights like that.

not really. 1 really good start (in Chicago), 2 good starts, 2 bad starts. He'll be fine.

I kind of feel like old Yordano would have thrown a better game and hit somebody right in the jaw in retaliation for esky. Hopefully the suspension hasn't taken some fire out of his game.

our BB/9 from our SP's is getting out of hand, at least the last 10 games or so. Our K/9 is also getting smaller. Like, its badass that we're still 14-7 with our SP's not doing much but it will be scary if they dont get it fixed soon.

Finn or Morales didn't exactly come in with ideal situations in the last two games. Perhaps Ned is too insistent on getting the starters through 6, but getting 6 decent innings is a reasonable expectation. Honestly, I judge our bullpen more on what they do from the 7th inning on, I don't care if its early, we've got to get more from our starters.

Taking Ms. Spemaw out to the K tomorrow night about 5 rows up from the on-deck circle. Pretty excited for the friday vs. Detroit atmosphere but a little  :ohno: and  :frown: about C. Young being the probable starter.
Please don't ban me, Mr. Dave.

duffy and ventura hit walls at like 80-90 pitches.  they did all last year, and that isn't going to magically change just because shields is no longer around and you want them to pitch longer all of a sudden.

i don't think guthrie and vargas have endurance problems, hitters just figure them out after a while.

whatever the issue, volkie (maybe, dunno anything about him) is the only one that should be routinely expected/hoped to go deep in a game.  get the others out while the getting is good.
