i'd like to see the starters stay under 90 pitches. and save hdh for tighter games. keep everyone fresh.

like, i don't have much to complain about today. but was it really necessary to bring frasor out for a second inning? wouldn't it have been better to let someone else pitch that and save frasor for games that are a little tighter?

and yesterday, i think davis pitched for a second day in a row. fine, there's nothing wrong with that if it's needed. but was it really needed? they've got a lot of good relievers, maybe just show them off a little more.

his temper isn't the issue, it's when he can't control it and it affects his game negatively. it would be great if he could figure out how to channel that crap and use it do better rather than letting it come out the way it does now and then melt down. but honestly who really cares, he is who he is and you take the good with the bad. he could never change and I would still love him.

It's been a pretty consistent talking point for awhile now. The Royals just don't have that "Major League" mentality and it's rubbing people the wrong way. The out-of-dugout celebrations, the posturing. It's all just to much for most people, including opposing teams, to handle.

Bunch of young ruffians they are.

It's interesting how BITB has been transitioning into a curmudgeon the last couple of years.

thoughts:

1. This is fun.
2. Rested bullpen!!!!!
3. Cain's D can NOT be overstated.
4. Sal and Moose as power hitters? Will take. We should expect 50 HRs between them and I'm 100% serious
5. Yordano is a GD ace.
6. Orlando's career will be short, but fun. He's v fast and v good at triples.
7. I hope teams start hating us. What was most fun about KSU hoops 2006-oscar's hiring was when teams hated us and we mushed their dumb faces.
8. Hosmer looks frustrated and impatient at the plate. We will need his offense.
9. Rios + Moraes > Aoki + Billy

Baseball's "unrwritten rules" are just a bunch of idiotic nonsense meant to protect losers who suck from getting shown up by younger, better, and handsomer baseball players. Glad the Royals have chosen to ignore them.
