Dunno. He's a streaky player. Like, he was amazing all August last year and then awful in September, and then somewhere in between all postseason. He looks fine I guess, but it could be an issue hard for fans to see.

We got a taste of it during the postseason, but if this keeps up** the Royals will be the most hated team in baseball by June.

**not winning every game, just winning a lot. People aka players, fans, managers hate many of the Royals' antics. Even BITB was making a huge deal out of it all the time with Frank White last season. Outsiders whined about it in the playoffs. It will only get worse.

Let's add in that most of KC's best players are currently in the prime of their careers, or on the cusp of their prime. Dayton has gotten a lot of crap over the years, and some deservedly so, but by the looks of things he's put together a group that could have a real 3-4 year window through the draft, trades, and astute FA pickups.
