You know when your team beats the ever living crap out of your opponent but the coach starts going off on minor details so there's some sort of "teaching moment"? Well here's mine for this thread.

I thought it was well established that there is no "my guy" with the Royals, they're all "our guys". So if everyone could stop calling my guy in here that would be great.

This power surge! More please!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

4 HRs in our first two games. How long did it take us to hit 4 HRs last year?

Here's what I said to another Royals fan tonight that I think makes sense, but you guys tell me: Our closers can not keep up with what they did last year. Last year was a once in a decade (in the entire MLB) performance by our closers, but our hitting this year will make up for it. We're going to win the AL Central, and be a threat to win the AL again.

When I played baseball growing up, everyone chose the number of their favorite player. There was a lot of mcgwire, bonds, Nomar, Jeter, Griffey love. They were always someone else's players.

I saw a little league team doing a fundraiser at sonic and the numbers were Hosmer, Dyson, Cain, Duffy, moose etc. that made me really happy

But what if they do?

Also, taking your kids out of school, eating barbeque, watching a great game, and getting home really late makes for a pretty great day.

Even if you still have to get up early for work.

_FAN how close were you to Hosmer's blast?

We sat in the upper fountain seats in left center. His shot went to right center into the party porch, so it was quite a ways.

Could he have hit this harder? I don't think so.

Probably not, but the wind was REALLY blowing out.

I believe during the broadcast they said it was game #13 when we hit our 4th last year.   :horrorsurprise:

Lorenzo Cain is officially my favorite player since Beltran. I love everything about him.

SO much fun last night.  I wasn't sure if it would be possible to love this team more than last year, but they are about to make it happen.  I was sitting near some Sox fans last night and it was glorious watching the air get taken out of them when Hos and Cain hit their blasts.

also i dont think were going to need to use HDH as much because our offense should help us run away with more games.
