The pen is the only thing the Royals have going that is elite. If they want to win championships, they need to be elite in some way. They shouldn't trade any of those guys and they should pay them whatever they need to pay to keep them.

The thing is relative to position. Hosmer has high level speed for a 1b, Gordon for a LF, etc. Sure Billy Morales is slow, but how many DHs are out stealing bases on the reg
