Lester would make our rotation next year:

Lester
Ventura
Duffy
Vargas
Guthrie

That is way better than what we started with in 2014:
Shields
Vargas
Guthrie
Chen
Ventura

I mean, we ran a 4 man rotation for the first 10 games or so because of off days, and didn't have Duffy in the rotation to start. Lester at the top is a 93 win team floor.

"I was a big part of the bullpen for most of the year. During the playoffs, you get days off so those guys could pitch every day. But during the regular season, those guys need days off and you need other guys to come in and get the job done. And I was the guy that was called on more often than not. And some of the guys that made the postseason roster weren't in the big leagues hardly at all this season, they really didn't help us get to the point where we were, so it kind of bothered me a little bit."

"But I pitched poorly at the end of the year, so there's nobody to blame but myself. Going into next year, I definitely want to get better and be a part of that roster next year."

It takes a lot of suck for a former 1st round pick and all star to be left off of the postseason roster for guys like Jason Frasor, Josh Willingham, Jayson Nix, and Terrance Gore. But Crow had that much suck.

He was upset about Finnegan. It would be bad enough if he thought he was better than Jason Frasor, but he's pissed about the guy who wasn't "in the big leagues hardly at all this season." Crow needs to find himself a government job and just settle in. He needs to GTF away from our Royals.

you guys i had this medium sized post all written out and i went to espn.com to copy Crow's terrible ERA (4.12) and then i was going to talk about how many games he lost for us but i'll be doggonned if his record in 2014 wasn't 6-1

Didn't he mostly pitch when the other team already had the lead? It really doesn't matter. There aren't any stats for being a huge crybaby loser.

i listened to a podcast about free agent right fielders and now realize is that aoki is the best option available. did anyone know aoki has the exact same amount of war as melky over the last three years? but would be way cheaper.

kemp would be a really stupid trade unless you gave up nothing and got something really good to come with. he's making 20 million plus per year.
