So according to KC Star sounds like Royals are realistically targeting Hunter and Santana. They also are keeping in touch with Melky but probably out of price range. Also mentioned a few middle-tier pitchers. Sorry Scherzer hopefuls.

It will be hard to love hunter after all the years of being pissed at him raking the royals but he is pretty adorbs so it shouldn't take too long
Remember when Barry Bonds picked up Torii Hunter after he robbed him of a home run in that all star game? Probably not because we were all tiny babies when that happened because Torii Hunter is super old.
If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

PHOENIX – The Royals made it to the World Series as the wild card and now they just might be the wild card in the Yasmany Tomas sweepstakes.Kansas City general manager Dayton Moore said: “We are interested in [Tomas] and other players internationally.”But Tomas, in particular, intrigues the Royals. They need a right fielder. In the best of all worlds, the right fielder would hit in the middle of the order. And as opposed to, say, signing a qualified-offer free agent such as Melky Cabrera, the Royals would not lose their first-round pick if they were to ink Tomas ...
