you can't give away an out with a runner on first, no outs. and duffy was shakier than any eff in the world. it wasn't even worth thinking about.

and there's no reason to think he even knows how to bunt.

I disagree sys. I think he finished the inning strong and we needed his possible good pitching and eating up innings more than we needed a run

We just needed vargas to get one more inning with the lead. He couldn't do it. We got him everything he could ever want, a 3 run lead after 3. Now we hope for runs late.
