Thought of another awesome scenario for Game 3. We're up 1 in the 9th, they have a runner on 2nd (Blanco) with 2 outs. Sandoval Singles to Left Field and Gordon guns Blanco at the plate!!!!!!!

THAT'S ANOTHER COOL WAY THE ROYALS COULD WIN GAME 3 OF THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or what about THIS!!!!!!!!

We lead off the game with an infield single with Escobar, Aoki (imagine he starts game 3) singles to LF, Cain walks, then Hosmer HOMERS!!!!!!!

GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guts goes 6 gives up 1, we tack on a few more in the 5th, and win GAME 3 OF THE 2014 WORLD SERIES 6-1!!!!!!!!!

 :whistle1: :Wha: :Woohoo: :katpak: :katpak:  :excited:  :billdance: :Chirp:

Here's a thought, guys. What if Lorenzo Cain steps into the batter's box, only to realize that Salvador Perez has glued one of those weird San Francisco mustaches onto his bat? Then he smokes the first pitch out of the park and Sal gives him a big hug when he crosses home plate? How cool would that be?

Mrs. CF3 would be so happy. Salvador is her guy!!!!!

I'm so far behind on like, house projects, work stuff, exercise, sleep, basically everything besides drinking beer and watching Royals and watching Royals highlights and reading their articles and talking to my Dad on the phone or old friends about the Royals, or liking Royals stuff on facebook, etc.

We've already got more than enough movie fodder in this playoff run, but what if one of our pitchers has a perfect game? Or maybe just takes a perfect into the 7th before handing off to HDH?

Of what if Eric Hosmer calls his shot for that cute little kid with cancer and hits a game winning grand slam in the 9th?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Hosmer strikes me as more the "I promised Miss California I'd hit a homer" type

aoki has kind of sucked this WS in the field and at the plate, so i cant say i disagree... but my only reservation is going back and forth doesnt seem like a good idea. if dyson is gonna play in SF, he needs to play all 3 games. neither of them are really in a rhythm so id say pick one and go with it. dont really care who it is... but its hard to argue defense isnt important especially when aoki has been sucking.

put dyson in the 8 spot, since they get pitched around to get the pitcher at the plate. -then he's on base and a threat to steal.

Keep it how it is. It's a mini slump for Aoki, but he's been pretty important to us this post season.

a lot of NL teams do this. the only real time they pitch around someone to get to the pitcher is when there is already a man in scoring position, which would likely take dyson stealing a base out of the equation. no one really just puts a man on with 2 outs and no one on just to pitch to a pitcher because of the pinch hit...

If we have a guy on 3rd with less than 2 outs, I am pretty excited to see Aoki at the plate.  I would be significantly less with Dyson

San Franciscans seem pretty weird.
Yeah. That was an awful list. Especially the last one.

Could have been funny but just clickbait.....let's hope ole Overland Park John with his inferiority complex doesn't find it.

he went 0-2 with RISP in that game, but yes he did get the tying run home in the 9th.

We've been pretty $ all post season as a team with RISP. I'm not gonna freak out that we couldn't execute against Bumgarner. That crap is just gonna happen against him.
