the ticket prices on stubhub for the game saturday night are outrageous.  people are trying to get $650-850 for standing room only.

Tonight's atmosphere even before we scored a run was 100x better than last night.  Great night.

LOL at Strickland.

If Strickland bats in SF, I suspect he'll get drilled. Or at least plunked.

Has anyone besides me, _FAN, and WC08 watched the postseason?

me and carnes

ive watched more baseball this postseason than i have the whole rest of my life combined

this sport really does have some great moments!

it's a fun sport. started really getting into for the first time the second half of this season. I've never been into it much but have also never had a successful team to follow.

Also, my favorite part reading through the posts throughout the game was when _FAN said he wished Salvy would have gone out and hit Strickland. The Royals have _FAN acting very un-_FAN-like. Wanting fights, saying, and I quote, "LFG", not doing K-State football stats. I can't decide if I love it or hate it. I guess you could say I'm on the _FENCE about it.

This. In a non-critical game situation. Minimizes the chance of a two team warning.

In a 1-1 series in the WS, the winner of game 3 wins 70% of the time.

Moose had some quote after the game where they asked him if he heard what strickland said.

Moose's answer was "All I heard was the ball leaving the yard"

Lol at you dorks that think Strickland will pitch again this series, much less bat. Have you guys ever watched national league baseball? I mean, a short relief pitcher batting? I'm just rolling over here.

yeah. i wouldn't be surprised if he is shelved the rest of the series and even if he does pitch there is a 0% chance he sees the plate.
