Here we go again. Everyone is putting their $ together to bring Sung Woo back. He's going to tear us apart. Shouldn't we be putting our $ together for kids, cancer patients, etc. that want to go to the game, but can't afford it. He's going to be all they talk about.

If there were any kids or cancer patients out there that loved the Royals as much as Sung Woo, maybe. There just aren't any, though. I'll gladly pay some money to get him back to the K.

No, but look at it from that side of things. Lots of local stories in our own backyard that we could be helping out with. When did he start being a fan again? I doubt he's been hurting for 29 years.

WC that's a great idea. I think you should spear head a campaign to get some kids some tickets. Don't complain about Sung Woo. Both of these things can happen, and you can be the leader

I'm going to shush about Ned after this, but what I liked about him from the start didn't have much to do with baseball. I probably watched three full royals games all year. But from what I saw from a leadership standpoint was that he seemed like a guy who wasn't an emotional dork that made snap decisions, and seemed like he had an over-arching philosophy that he was trying to stick to and believed in. I also heard him talk and he seemed slightly smarter than the average baseball manager. He basically struck me as the anti-Paul Rhodes, who is always my go-to example for worst possible kind of leader.

This is a good idea tho. I think i'll pick up a cricket team in london, rugby team in austraila, skier in sweden, etc. Make up some twitter accounts and act like i'm a huge rough ridin' fan. BOOM! #Profit #FreeTrips #AllDayLongSon

Well, you would have to be the world's best fan of all of those teams to make it work.
