By the way, I thought we were losing our composure in the 6th? when Dyson got thrown out, Cain and Butler struck out and were both arguing calls, I thought, this team is folding........glad I was wrong :Woohoo:

I was worried there too.  My GF was looking at me funny because I was telling the Royals to not be Iowa State and get over it.

J-Guts/Vargas gonna go games 3 and 4. Need a win today, because a split with those 2 should be expected. I'm fine with it, and Duffy being the man in the pen, but that would line up Guthrie for a possible game 7 which scares me v much.

If this series goes 6 or more, guaranteed that Ventura pitches again. Yost had him start game 162 vs. ChiSox that Sunday, pitch in Wildcard game on Tuesday, and start that Friday vs Angels. Yordano is in it to win it

Dyson beat that throw by a mile last night. Why did he slide to the outside corner? He is safe if he goes straight in, and no, he was not pushed off. He slid way late.

i'm not mad about it, because as far as i can tell defenders are allowed to do it, but he was definitely pushed off.

They used every arm they had except some scrub. This might be over

so did we.  except for secret weapon, maybe hurt, maybe broke mechanics, maybe great duffy.  a starter that can go seven today would be big for either team.

the turnaround seems too fast.  it's like 14 hours since they stopped playing last night.

Every time I hear the Let's go Royals chant I see the kid that came into station with metalhead last Saturday night.... and it makes me smile.

The new Nick Ward or Meigecat? The new Nick Ward was the kid who almost got thrown out for standing on the table.
Yes... it was the new Nick Ward.

video of dyson getting pushed off.  it's not egregious, and i wouldn't expect it to be called, but he was definitely pushed off.

Has there ever been a series with so many key broken bat/bloop hits as this one has already

nice to get that early lead, but assume we won't stop scoring.  norris didn't look like he was fooling too many batters that inning.

Is Infante really slow?  Not that hard hit and not the quickest turn...

i like infante prolly more than anyone (everyone else seems to hate him), but if he's shoulder is so bad he can't throw and can barely swing a bat, don't rough ridin' play him.  unless colon's finger is keeping him from playing in the field, it just makes no sense.

really like how moose has started not swinging at balls, hardly at all.  if he can take walks and hit hrs, he can hit .220 all he wants and still be useful.
