You guys excited to throw Shields in game 4?

I think James gets his full rest because we will be up 3-0. They will throw their ace on short rest and we will save ours for an easier matchup.

I would trade a world series win (series, not game) for losing every KSU football game from here on out

Every time I hear the Let's go Royals chant I see the kid that came into station with metalhead last Saturday night.... and it makes me smile.

The new Nick Ward or Meigecat? The new Nick Ward was the kid who almost got thrown out for standing on the table.

Dyson beat that throw by a mile last night. Why did he slide to the outside corner? He is safe if he goes straight in, and no, he was not pushed off. He slid way late.

Guys, I got a superstition going right now but I am not going to say what it is in fear of jinxing these boys......but I know this board will call me notbeingroyal....

All I can say is I get too damn worked up during these games.....

By the way, I thought we were losing our composure in the 6th? when Dyson got thrown out, Cain and Butler struck out and were both arguing calls, I thought, this team is folding........glad I was wrong :Woohoo:

I missed like the first 5 innings cause of my son's HS football game, but they had a local mentally challenged guy, who is a big Royals fan, give updates to the crowd during the game.  When I left to come home, we were up 4-1. I get home and we were up 5-4, oh shazbot!....

Felt like they might lose composure, but Herrera/Davis kept us in the game. We channeled the anger to victory.

i went so nuts at the alex and moose home runs. did you guys? i mean i was screaming and jumping and stuff. it was surreal. just amazing to be a fan of this team right now
I was laughing/screaming.

I lost it for Alex's bomb. Just jumping and pacing around the room. I was home for this one, and had to do that silent scream so I didn't wake up the kids. I just paced and fist pumped and said "YES YES YES OH MAN YES!" over and over. For Moose's bomb I just stood there like this:  :horrorsurprise: and was just in pure disbelief. I got v nervous in the bottom of the 10th though...

He tends to slide past the bag. If you look at the steal of 3rd in the WC game, it was just like this one. Slides way past, keeps a toe on. Its just what Dyson do.

is this real life?

Don't be ridiculous this is not real life.

Yea, I know. Why doesn't Rusty teach our speedsters to slide at the proper time?

He does it to get there faster. Great scouting by the O's.

Well, the middle infielder just held the tag on like he was supposed too. I'm not sure if that's great scouting or solid, fundamental baseball.

It is, but it probably happens 5% of the time because sweeping is faster.

Yeah, the way he slides is a big part of why he is so good at stealing bases. Sliding slows you down. Better to start slowing down when you are already safe.
