this is 100% on shields. lester has given up some runs but he doesn't allow 2 guys to get on with no outs in later innings. we never really stood a chance.

like i don't think losing 3-2 or 4-3 would have been so bad. or maybe it's having had the lead for a couple few innings that makes it seem bad. either way, it seems like one of the not so good ways to lose.
