Finnegan will be fine. I'm disappointed in another poor outing by Vargas, he couldn't even go 5 innings.

Yeah, people talk about Guthrie going to the pen, but Vargas and Guthrie are heading in different directions (seemingly) right now. Not sure I want Vargas starting a playoff game.

People will be mad at Ned, bit this is on Vargas. He put everyone in an awful situation with a terrible start. I was afraid this would happen, at least the Mariners and A's helped us out.

Vargas just hasn't been the same since the appendectomy. He's had a couple good outings, but for the most part has struggled.

Ned deserves part of this blame. Crow should not be pitching in that situation. The fact that he is still getting oppys over Frasor just shows that Ned is still a dumbfuck. Vargas didn't pitch well, and that's definitely why we're in this spot, but Ned didn't play his best players to try and get out of it. That's rough ridin' stupid. Ned.is.rough ridin'.stupid. or stubborn, or whatever the hell motivates him to piss on stats and basic rough ridin' logic.

Still pleased with this series though. Two out of three is great, but it's games like this that remind me why we're not going to win the division (outside of pissing down our legs against Detroit).
