All the good players on our team are rested since Ned emptied the bench! Davis, Holland, Herrera, all tanned, rested, and ready

BTW taking the 28x or the 47 bus from downtown to the game and scheduling a z-trip black car for after the game is a great way to go to Kauffman for a pak'ing session.  Only $20 more than driving yourself and paying parking.

Let's go.

Incidentally, enjoying a September afternoon game with your son while your team is in a playoff chase is pretty great.

Have we put a batter on their ass at all this year?  I think we need to do that.

BGJ might finish this game with a total of 80 pitches the way these dorks are first pitch swinging.

can't blame them, it's their only chance.

doesn't matter, he's not a nine inning pitcher.  we'll get a run, whether it's in the 3rd or the 13th and that'll be that.

Ned asked the hottest hitter in baseball to bunt, to move over a runner who could easily score from 2nd on any single, in order to try and scratch out 1 run IN THE FIRST FREAKING INNING

one run will win this thing, so it was the right move.

I laughed when the announcer asked if he did that on his own or if it came from the dugout. It's a classic Ned move.
