I'd love to see the streak end, but we're about to watch the most entertaining, and frustrating, collapse of a baseball team in playoff contention (possibly) ever.
1/2 game back of first (we aren't tied given that suspended game) with 3 weeks left? JFC, enjoy this!!!!!!
We out hit the tigers today, that is a good sign

This thread right now is a perfect example of a fan base that hasn't seen their team go to the playoffs in almost thirty years. Baseball is weird. We could start another run tomorrow, and Detroit could fall off a cliff. Much stranger things have happened.

Each and every one of us picked the royals to lose two out of three this series, not sure what the problem is

It feels like we've been hanging on by a thread for a week. I hope that run is coming though.

Like I said, baseball is weird, and there's a reason that stats are so prevalent in this sport...because gut feelings aren't very good at predicting the game.

(Pre-playoffs). They led by 6-1/2 with 12 games left and didn't win another game. Lost the NL pennant.
