There isn't a worse person to have up with the bases loaded than Sal Perez. The pitcher HAT TO throw a strike and he refuses to swing at anything in the zone. Would have walked in a run had he taken a few.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

I want to think that we have Scherzer's pitch count up and we can get to their bullpen. Then I realize we don't score runs that often anymore. :(

Hopefully we can get over Detroit owning us this year in KC next week.

Let everybody else take care of these dorks.  They will go and blow it vs. Twins/Sox.

the royals are very similar to the cats, inferior talent always trying to compete with the big boys

What we're seeing the last few games is the reason the Brewers fired Yost during a pennant race in mid-September. No hitting and no answer for it.

Yeah i'm not thinking this specifically is why Ned was ran out of Wisconsin.  These dudes haven't hit all year.

Ned's even said that's why he was canned. Not saying he should have been, since he wasn't at the plate, just saying that's why they did it. Or at least that's what he and the Brewers have said in the past.

I thought it was overmonkeying with the lineup and pitching decisions...but I know nothing about that situation.  Just saying in this situation, he should have been fired in May if lack of hitting is the reason.

2 losses on the road isn't panic worthy....but understandable I guess.

I mean obviously our offense is the problem but it would also help on the pitching side if we would put these guys on their butts every once and awhile.  Everybody is way too comfortable batting against us.

Agree that a couple of losses don't warrant panic. A few more will. And I wouldn't fire Ned at this late date unless there would be underlying circumstances we know nothing about. That said, this is a good enough team to make the playoffs...if they don't, changes need to be made.

Earth to Ned:  Dyson should be running for Aoki.
