I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself (I'm not, because the Royals are rough ridin' great), but the way we've played against the A's the last four games gives me a lot of hope for the postseason. This is the best team in the majors, and the only time we lost is because Billy started an eight inning spiral by dropping a routine popup. Pitching and defense will play in October, just have to keep the bats from cooling off too much.

Seven, its just a great day all around from top to bottom. I took my kids to the zoo and I kid you not, 20% of the people there were wearing something Royals. Hats, shirts, you name it. Just good old midwestern folks with great family values cheering on the best team ever.

Guys, this streak is attributed to one guy, Billy Butler.  His surge has brought legitimacy to the middle of the lineup, which is helping the other guys batting ahead/behind him.

This streak is his.  But the season so far is because of the pitching staff.
