being with J-Dub, 'blast, and Slimz IRL last evening really put a muzzle on my zeal. Stevesie was of course full of zeal because he's on the mount Rushmore of Royals fans, but I dunno guys I'm starting to have that "meh, almost shark week" feeling about our boys.

Our strength all year was pitching and D. Well, now we have spin class out there dropping pop ups at 1st base, and Alcides and Salvador's play would lead one to think they are wearing down from over use. Even Alex was mentally out of it yesterday in the field. I'm still gonna hope but they better really do something special before shark week.

i can't do this anymore. not until the organization has been gutted. not until they hire someone who knows how to do baseball in 2014 rather than 1985. until they do that, i'm finished hoping. i will still care, but i won't hope.
