That was playoff-level baseball you dorks.

Royals shot themselves in the foot by not being selective early on, and allowing Sanchez to pitch deep into the game with a low pitch-count. CF3's charts did a great job of explaining what I've been saying for way too long.

Side Note: Phys was unbearable today with the food, and should be ashamed of himself for how he treated Amanda. Came off like a pretentious loser/ dork. Hud did all he could to carry him.

Duffy was masterful yesterday. For a lefty to shut down the Detroit offense like he did for 6 innings is extremely impressive. The Tigers have a slash of .287/ .340/ .456 against lefties on the season with an OPS of .796.

To put it in perspective not Royals regular has an OPS of over .782 (Cain) on the season.
